Today was Student Action day at all schools with demonstrations all over the California.
At Fullerton Junior College students and faculty from the school and from Cypress College were protesting at the four corners of Chapman Avenue and Lemon Street. Most students were wearing black, there were signs and red painted hands all over the place. Faculty passed out doughnuts and water out. A lot of excitement and frustration found its way out into shouts; “My future, my choice!” seemed to be the most popular.
Cal State Fullerton students and professors led a rally today marching around campus with bullhorns, signs, and their voices gathering in front of the Humanities building to protest in response to budget cuts, increase of fees, and cutting courses out of the curriculum.
Today's events will culminate in a protest in front of City Hall in Los Angeles at 3p.m. All students are urged to come and defend their future.
