In their second game of the season, the Cypress Chargers men's soccer team will face the Chaffey Panthers on Aug. 31 at 4:00 p.m. at the Cypress College soccer field.
The Chargers will be going for their first win of the season. On Aug. 27, they let a two-goal lead slip away as their match against the Southwestern Jaguars ended in a 2-all tie.
In 2009, the Chargers also played to a draw against Southwestern in the season opener. They finished that campaign with an 8-10-4 win-loss-tie record and a loss to Santa Ana in the SoCal Regionals.
The Chargers' record now stands at 0-0-1.
