The Cypress College began live webcasting of its news show, C-Scope, 3 p.m. today, Dec. 4.

This first live edition of the weekly C-Scope will be the last C-Scope of the season. The goal was set early in the semester to move from video-taped webcasts to live streaming.

The Spring 2009 C-Scope editions are planned as live productions in The Cypress Chronicle's own video webcasting studio. The studio features lighting grids and a full-wall green screen. The three-camera studio feeds into a control room with both live streaming and post-production facilities.

Students wishing to work in the studio should enroll in Journalism 226c, 228c, or 229c, classes in the media production sequence.
